Footage of Stoltz as Marty McFly in Back to the Future

The "Back to the Future" trilogy is hitting Blu-ray on October 26 and a first look at the original Marty McFly, Eric Stoltz, from the set is now online thanks to The Hollywood Reporter.

In case you didn't know, writer/director Robert Zemeckis was five weeks into shooting Back to the Future when he and executive producer Steven Spielberg made the drastic decision to change the lead actor as Stoltz's comedic timing just wasn't working for the film. It was then that Michael J. Fox was brought in and he reshot all those scenes from the first five weeks.

You can now check out a clip from the never-before-seen footage above. via comingsoon

Bay, Spielberg and Kruger to Meet for Transformers 3

Michael Bay's official website got an update from the director on his future projects:

* He will be meeting later this week with Steven Spielberg, and Ehren Kruger to discuss ideas for Transformers 3. By the end of the week he should have an idea if Transformers 3 will hit your local cineplex in the summer of 2011 or 2012.
* In the meantime "Pain & Gain" is looking very possible as is...
* ...Bad Boys 3. Either film coming to a theater near you before or after Transformers 3.

I'd prefer Bad Boys 3. Transformers 3 should take a little more time on the script this time around.

DreamWorks Near Deal to Leave Paramount?

The principals of DreamWorks SKG are close to a deal with one of India's biggest entertainment conglomerates to form a new movie venture, according to The Wall Street Journal. The move would give director Steven Spielberg the cash to finance his DreamWorks team's departure from Viacom Inc.'s Paramount Pictures later this year.

Mumbai-based Reliance ADA Group would provide Spielberg and company with $500 million to $600 million in equity. The deal would give Reliance a large stake in the new company, that is expected to make about six movies a year.

The new company may be headed by DreamWorks CEO Stacey Snider, added the Journal.
