Special edition watches for The Ferrari Scuderia Collection

To commemorate the launch of the Ferrari California, Officine Panerai rolled out a special edition Ferrari two-counter chronograph in December of last year, and now two new models have been added to the Ferrari Scuderia collection - the Ferrari Chronograph Red Dial and the Ferrari Chronograph Yellow Dial. Both the chronographs clearly reflect the connection with Ferrari cars and the creative approach towards watch-making. Touting a polished steel case with brushed steel edges, the watches come with two screw-down chronograph push pieces and a crown with rims, which remind one of the dashboard controls of Ferrari models. The tachometer scale for calculating average speeds also shows a link with the cars. The Prancing Horse symbol is there on the back of the case, the winding crown and the dial of the two watches. Black calfskin leather has been used for the straps, while the inner layer has been done with red alligator skin. via Born Rich
