24Kilates x mita x New Balance MT576S

Forming a Spanish-Japanese connection, New Balance becomes the focal point of two popular shops in 24Kilates of Spain and mita of Japan. The co-branded shoe at hand is the rarely seen MT576S, a derivative of the recognizable cult-classic MT580 as they share the same mid and outsole. The shoe’s upper as the name implies is derived from the 576 in a combination leather and patent upper with hits of red and blue. The shoe releases on March 20th at mita. Via Hypebeast

New Balance A14 576 "Coffee Beans"

Although conceptually driven footwear has hit a low point over the last year, the New Balance A14 576 exemplifies the solid workings of what concepts can do for a sneaker. The 576 references an unlikely source of inspiration in coffee beans to create the colorway. The upper is comprised of hemp and cork with a printed insole and painted 'N' logo. Slated for a release in August of 2008. Source: Streething & hypebeast
