Directed by Joe Carnahan and opening June 11, The A-Team follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going "rogue," they utilize their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. Last night I attended a screening of "The Hangover" directed by Todd Phillips (who was in attendance). To be completely honest, it's the funniest movie I've seen since Wedding Crashers. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, & Ed Helms. "The Hangover" is a Las Vegas-set comedy centered around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him. While the log line sounds formulaic, the screenwriters and Todd Phillips went to every length to keep the audience guessing. I have been a huge fan of Todd Phillips for years (Road Trip & Old School) and thought he may have fallen off with (Starsky & Hutch & School for Scoundrels). However, I am proud to say that he is back in full force and "The Hangover" should be a comedy that we quote for years to come!
