Gatorade Limited Edition Jordan Series Commercial

Not that long ago, Gatorade embarked on the creation of a commermetiave commercial marking Michael Jordan’s induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Taking place at a secret location, the culmination of 14,641 Gatorade bottles and the Gatorade Limited Edition Jordan Series Commercial are seen here. KAWS “The Long Way Home” Exhibition

This weekend marks the opening of KAWS’ newest “The Long Way Home” exhibition at the Honor Fraser Gallery. Previews into his work to be presented features a number of re-appropriations of iconic cartoon franchises including SpongeBob, The Smurfs and The Simpsons. The exhibition will also include a life-sized Chum character among other iconic pieces.The show opens Saturday, February 21st at 6:00 pm and runs until 8:00 pm.

UNDFTD x Neil Leifer - Billboard Project Ver. 21

UNDFTD continues their Billboard Project as another installation has just gone up on the billboard that overlooks La Brea Ave. in Los Angeles, California. This newest image comes via Neil Leifer, who has worked with UNDFTD and the Billboard Project before, the new image from Leifer is of legendary NFL Quarterback Joe Namath. KAWS - The Long Way Home Exhibition

KAWS gets set for a trip across the country with his first solo show in Los Angeles, opening up February 21st, 2009. Entitled “The Long Way Home”, the Brooklyn-based artist showcases his trademark pop culture style in the form of new paintings and sculptural work referencing iconic influences with his brand of clever reinterpretations. A large life-size Chum figure will also be making an appearance during the shows opening at the Honor Fraser Gallery in Los Angeles. - HYPEBEAST

Street Art: Joshua Allen Harris' Inflatable Bag Monsters

Call us boring and simple-minded, but before we saw the work of street artist Joshua Allen Harris we never once considered the artistic possibilities of subway exhaust. Using only tape and garbage bags, Harris creates giant inflatable animals that become animated when fastened to a sidewalk grate. Steven Psyllos caught up with Harris recently to discuss his older works (including a bear and a giraffe) and unveil a new beast that looks not unlike the Cloverfield monster. STREET ARTIST ROADSWORTH - DOPE!

Roadsworth: Crossing the Line details a Montreal stencil artist’s clandestine campaign to make his mark on the city streets.

Hailed as an "artist's artist" by Wooster Collective, Peter Gibson, aka Roadsworth began to play with the language of the streets, overlaying city asphalt markings with his own images: a crosswalk becames a giant boot print, vines choked up traffic dividers, and electrical plugs filled parking spots. Each piece begged the question, Who owns public space?

As he is prosecuted at home and celebrated abroad, Roadsworth struggles to defend his work, define himself as an artist and address difficult questions about art and freedom of expression.
